October, October, it sure doesn’t feel like October in Miami.

Currently

Eating // (and I am actually eating as I write this, coincidently – or am I always eating?) cheesy brussel sprouts with chicken. It’s the only food I had left in the fridge – next thing on the to do list, grocery shopping. I made the brussel sprouts with a little orange juice to add a light citrus tanginess and lots of mozzarella to make gooey. They are fantastic. Then I had a grilled piece of chicken.

Exploring // the confines of my bedroom, but earlier I got the pleasure of roaming around Miami’s Art District, which is truly gorgeous. I started at the Wynwood Walls and roamed around stopping for some fresh juice and enjoying the hot sun. It was a great place to relax and take lots of pictures!

Wearing // a dress that I got from my sister because it didn’t fit her right and I LOVE it. It is by Zephyrus and it doesn’t have a size so I’m going to assume it is one size fits all. It is a beautiful white and blue dress with pink and green flowers and the front is white crochet on top and the back is a clear mesh top. It is beautiful.

I am currently admiring fall from afar. I absolutely adore fall and everything that typically comes with it – apple picking, pumpkin patches, and falling leaves. In Miami, most of those things are not options. Sometimes I forget seasons even exist. This year, the summer rainy season seems to have shifted to the later months and it is raining almost daily. It really makes me admire the light breeze and being able to wear sweater and huddle with my friends around a bonfire. I miss it not being too hot for real coffee. I admire the wonderful world around us and its ability to adapt to changes and have wonderful things like seasons.

I am currently collecting, well I don’t really collect anything – shot glasses from vacations, but they don’t really count – but I am currently collecting a list of books I would like to read. They are all recommendations that people have given me that I hope to explore post-graduation life. Until then, I will just keeping taking recommendations as I don’t have time for anything.
