Do you ever see someone’s life from the outside and ask How does she do it? When I read Laura Vanderkam’s I Know How She Does It, I got a behind-the-scenes peek into what other women’s lives were like, and it was life-changing. I had real examples of what their schedules were like!

That a-ha moment is what I’m hoping to share here. When it seems like life doesn’t have enough time for you to get your workout on, that might be true, but it could also be that you just haven’t figured out how to fit it in your schedule. Here is how, when, and what I’m doing when I’m working out. This is just one more data point for you to collect and consider.

Remember: It’s important to remember that doing something is usually better than doing nothing. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Progress is not a Straight Line.

Sunday 10/14

Macros: 149C 64F 110P

We went on an hour-long hike at a nearby park we discovered. I have never been one with nature, but it was nice to get outside and talk while moving our bodies for an hour. It was a great way to recover after a long-ish week.

While I had plans to CrossFit on Monday, I overslept my morning alarms and didn’t have a place to fit the workouts in during the afternoon. It became an unintentional rest day.

I always tell people not to read the workouts because you’ll find yourself cherry-picking which ones to go to.

Guilty.

I didn’t work out because I thought the workout looked intimidating. 🙃

This class was a bit of a mess with bunch of moving, so I’m not totally sure if what I linked to is what we did, but I got a good sweat on, so… worth it.
