Life has been a crazy whirlwind lately. I’m currently in Georgia doing some amazing rugby referee stuff. It’s crazy down here at Atlanta 7s and I can’t wait to tell you more about it soon, after I get the chance to process it all.

I’ve been refereeing a LOT, as I’ve mentioned before. I had basically every weekend in March and both days for most of them! I also had the weekend before coming down to Atlanta, so I rewarded myself (and my good spending) with a new rugby bag, and I have to say… I am in love. It’s the adidas Defender II Duffel Bag (Medium), Onix. The fact that I got it on 50% sale is icing on the cake. I love that gray color. It’s easy on the eyes and looks easy to clean and maintain. I’ll let you know how it holds up this weekend.

I miiiiiiiissed doing needle work. I can’t believe how much I missed it. It’s so relaxing and has allowed me to really disconnect from technology. I have these two matching belts that I’d like to make for my mister and his brother. Slowly but surely, I’m making progress! I’ve got all the red on the belt done and am coming back to to the white, perhaps the most tedious part.

Before I left for Georgia, I got together with some of the girls from my Junior League small group. Ahh, these ladies are so perfect! I love spending time with them. It always makes my heart feel so full. We went to Thursday Night at the Walters, so we could all go after work, and it was so much fun. We didn’t even want to do the museum. We spent most of the night sitting at a table in the café chatting the night away.

In my effort to spend the least amount of money possible, I’ve committed to buying nothing that I don’t have to, so I am working extremely hard to use the products I have at home. As of now, I just have too much beauty stuff. Here are just some of the empties that I’ve worked through lately:

Origins, A Perfect World Moisturizer

This is my winter moisturizer. I love it. This one little thing has lasted me two winters and is amazing. Strong recommend.

Calm Hydrating Lotion

You don’t know me well enough to know this, but massaging my feet is part of my regular night time routine. Lavender lotion is my favorite thing because the smell is so soothing and perfect for calming down for bed. This one was an impulse buy back in November, but boy was it worth it!

Origins Original Skin & Renewal Serum with Willowherb

This was just a sample, but my skin drank it right up! I loved it. I got this with a Sephora gift around Christmas time. Does anyone ever actually use their samples? This is definitely one of the thing I’m going to be doing more. I am not moving again with samples. I refuse to.

Origins, Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream

I love the citrus smell of this in the morning. This is perfect for that. I’m most bummed about finishing this one. It was my favorite thing in my entire beauty and skincare collection.

So that’s a little bit about what is going on lately! I cannot wait to tell you more about how this crazy experience is going soon.
