Wow! That’s all I can say about the last two weeks! Here’s what it all boils down to:

Laura graduated college!!!!!

*excessive use of exclamation points necessary

I flew down to Miami for Laura’s graduation with my Dad after he was in Baltimore. The biology department did a thing for their students first on Thursday which was pretty impressive. Friday was the actual graduation ceremony with the caps and the gowns. I could not be prouder for my sister. She is the absolute best! Also, our picture in front of a fountain was a bit of a throwback to my own post-graduation pictures… maybe just to me, but whatever.

We spent Saturday taking in the Miami weather #heavenly and ended the night in Wynwood. I can’t keep up with the kids these days. I had a flight back to Baltimore bright and early on Sunday, so I hugged Laura and Dad goodbye and returned the rental before a quick flight back to the already empty apartment (My movers had come before I left for Miami).

I came home to find this Influenster‘s Glam Vox Box, featuring CoverGirl Super Sizer by Lashblast Mascara, Very Black! I received this for free from Influenster but have not yet tried it. I like the Younique mascara with fibers, so these seem like a much cheaper alternative! I’ll let you know what I think! If you want to try Influenster, sign up here!

Here’s what was really humbling: in this Youtube video where they previewed the Voxbox, they said, that only a select number of Influencers would get to try the Cover Girl truNaked Goldens Palette. I could not have done that without you. I am so grateful for you – for sharing this space with me, for taking my word. In exchange, I always promise to be honest with you. Thank you.

I said goodbye to Baltimore later that week. I appreciated the view from Federal Hill one last time before taking the plunge. I can’t believe I’ve actually said goodbye to the place I called home for the last nine months. I miss it already.

I headed from Baltimore back to New Jersey where again I got to celebrate the star of my life, little Laura (who is not-so little). Laura decided to do a brunch-style Graduation party on Sunday. She is so creative because it all looked so absolutely beautiful! I can’t believe she put it all together out of her brain (and probably a little Pinterest inspiration). It was so nice to be able to spend just a little more time with her and with my family before taking the plunge and moving to North Carolina. My Godson is so big right now and I can’t even handle it!

That afternoon, I drove down to D.C. where I crashed at one of my best friend’s Blair’s apartment. We didn’t take any pictures- too busy catching up- but I’m so glad I could be there to spend some time with her before saying goodbye. Also, BLAIR GRADUATED YESTERDAY* Technically, she graduated in December but she finally walked yesterday, so that’s really exciting.

And now? Now, I’m at Fort Bragg. Getting settled in my new home. Trying to find a new routine. And setting up my home office. I can’t wait to get things more in place (hopefully this weekend) and sharing it with you!
