Earlier this week, I told you about that time I graduated college. That time. Like it’s something I’ll ever forget. Anyway, you may have noticed that I didn’t mention much of anything going on for the Friday night of Reunions. Well, that’s because I wasn’t there on the Friday night of Reunions! In fact, I was away at a Wedding!
That’s right folks, Wedding season has officially begun!
Red Bull’s limited edition came themed can is available through military channels and select retail account Memorial Day through the end of a July with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Military Warriors Support Foundation.
This can design incorporates the Red Bull Global Rallycross series which will be hosting a first-ever U.S. military base event stop this summer – watch it on NBC on July 5th at 5 p.m. EST! You too can “Race the Base” through the “Red Bull Global Rallycross Challenge” online game to earn merchandise and unique racing experiences. You can find more information here and here.
You can play the online game here.
I don’t drink coffee and I rarely drink caffeine, but this Red Bull was exactly what I needed to get through Reunions and get pumped for the Wedding.
I was lucky enough to have Casey as a date for the Wedding, something we are both coming to terms with not being a common reality. There we met up with my sister who is going to be one of the bridesmaids at the big event!
You see, like many individuals who cross national lines, Carol and Kiko have decided to get married both in the US and in Brasil, so that they can share it with their friends and families in both countries. This means that while we attended their wedding here in the United States earlier this month, I will also be attending their wedding in Brasil in the middle of August (unfortunately, sans my handsome date.
Their wedding venue was The Place on the Lake in East Brunswick. No. Really. That’s what it’s called. It was so absolutely beautiful! I loved it! We got to enjoy a beautiful cocktail hour outside to start the evening.
The Bride and Groom had a receiving line outside before we entered the venue. Once we got inside, they snuck away so that they could make a beautiful grand entrance! Ahh. They were so gorgeous. My sister was able to snap a picture of the three of us with #Carol and Kiko!
This wedding was especially unique in that there was Capoeira! You see, Kiko had been doing Capoeira for most of his life, so he and a couple of the guys from his team who were at the wedding just broke out into a routine without planning it at the wedding! I quickly snapped a picture that didn’t come out great, but I’m so glad I got it because now I have the memory forever. It was such a unique thing for a wedding!
I had such a great time at Carol and Kiko’s Wedding, but I absolutely could not have done it without my special edition #RedBullGRC giving me the energy to muscle through the day!
By the way, this “Just Married” Needlepoint ornament that I told you about last week was part of their wedding present! Isn’t it adorable?!
What’s the most unique thing you’ve experienced at a Wedding?
